Our Story
The breeze shifts in the afternoon, cooler air flowing off the ocean and mellowing the heat of the day. The sun is sinking from bright heat to the pale orange and pink glow of sunset. We gather at the dunes to soak up the last embers of the day, bask in the lingering lazy evenings of the summer.
The table is set on the sand, we kick off our sandals, tuck our toes between blankets and cool sand, lounge on pillows. Sunset highlights our faces as we fill our plates and glasses. Heaping platters of cool sweet melon, spiky with the heat of chiles, tarts bursting with ripe tomatoes, freshly caught fish grilled and blanketed with fresh herbs. Cold oysters bathed in shallots and champagne, a slick of sweet butter on a crust of bread and spicy sweet radish. Heat and salt, sweet and juicy, tender and crisp.
These are our summer dreams. This is Salt Air.
